Rainplanter is an automated rainwater-planter / sustainable drainage sizing tool. It uses project information entered or selected by you, together with the assumptions and calculation methods built into the service, to suggest a planter arrangement.

A paid drawing pack can be generated for the selected design. The pack is a preliminary concept-design document and may include a plan, elevation, section, storage information, design notes and preliminary materials quantities.

The design depends on information supplied or selected by you, including project location, roof area, drainage arrangement, planter dimensions, construction option and any optional project name. You are responsible for checking that this information is accurate and appropriate for your project.

If the project information or site conditions change, the design should be recalculated and the final arrangement checked before construction or ordering materials.

The drawing pack is a concept-stage design aid. It is not structural design or structural certification, and it is not a site investigation, drainage survey or substitute for site-specific professional advice where that is required.

Dimensions and quantities are preliminary and should be verified against actual site conditions. Foundations, walls, supports, fixings, levels, inlet arrangements, overflow, underdrain, drainage connections and safe exceedance routes should be checked for the final project.

The drawing pack is intended to be useful for planning applications and project development, including domestic extensions and one-off houses, but it does not guarantee planning permission, Building Regulations compliance, drainage-authority acceptance or approval by any other third party.

Any permission, consent, certification or professional input required for the project remains the responsibility of the property owner and project team.

The total price is the amount displayed before checkout. The current price of a Rainplanter drawing pack is €10. Any tax that must legally be included in the consumer price is included in the displayed total.

Payment is handled through SumUp's hosted checkout. The payment methods available to you are those displayed by SumUp at checkout. Rainplanter does not ask you to enter your full payment-card details directly into this website.

A purchase is treated as complete when payment has been confirmed and the drawing pack is made available to you.

The drawing pack is digital content supplied electronically. Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory cancellation period, subject to the rules and exceptions that apply to digital content.

Where you choose immediate digital supply, Rainplanter will ask for your prior express consent to supply beginning during the cancellation period and your acknowledgement that you will lose the applicable right to cancel when supply begins, where the statutory requirements for that loss of the cancellation right have been met.

This does not remove statutory rights or remedies where digital content is not supplied as agreed, is faulty, or does not conform with the contract.

If payment succeeds but you cannot obtain the drawing pack, or if you believe the digital content supplied does not match what was purchased, contact us at info@rainplanter.ie. We will investigate and provide any remedy required by applicable consumer law.

Materials quantities are preliminary allowances, not supplier quotations or guaranteed order quantities. They should be checked against the final construction arrangement, selected products, wastage, site access and contractor requirements before materials are purchased.

Construction remains the responsibility of the people carrying out and supervising the works.

You may use and share a purchased drawing pack for the project for which it was generated, including with your architect, engineer, planning adviser, contractor, supplier or relevant authority.

You may not resell the drawing pack, republish it as a template or product, or commercially redistribute the underlying drawings or design system without permission.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate project information supplied by the user, departures from the generated design, site conditions outside the scope of the tool, or decisions made by planning authorities, building-control bodies, drainage authorities, contractors or other third parties, except where the loss results from our failure to comply with our legal obligations.

We may update the calculator, drawings, assumptions, pricing or these terms as the service develops. Changes do not alter a completed purchase retrospectively unless required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Where a statutory cancellation right still applies, you may cancel by sending any clear statement of your decision to cancel to info@rainplanter.ie. You may use the following wording if useful:

If valid immediate supply has already begun and the statutory requirements for loss of the cancellation right have been met, the cancellation right may no longer apply.
